inner-development
The ”Flächen gewinnen durch Innenentwicklung“ program promotes non-investment measures aimed at active and high-quality inner-development: innovative concepts and urban planning designs, projects for information and citizen participation as well as the use of a municipal area manager for residential purposes. The aim is to activate inner-city areas such as vacant lots, fallow land and vacancies as well as potential for building up and densification.
Content priorities 2022
- creating affordable inner-area living space
- space-efficient use and reorientation of commercial and industrial areas
- areal-recycling of commercial and industrial wasteland
- activation of vacancies and reuse of fallow land as a result of the corona pandemic
High-quality inner-development and district-development concepts for housing and business are also eligible.
